| Overview: | Young and idealistic, Mari and Atsushi seek a better life in the big city. Yet the bright lights and fleshing neon signs of Tokyo cannot completely cover over its seamy underbelly. Lurking on the streets are "scoutmen" - smooth sorts who are constantly looking for new flesh to recruit into the world of adult video.
Of course, neither Mari nor Atsushi intend to end up in the sex industry. They face the same problems young people face all over the world - money and inexperience. Because they run out of money soon after arriving in Tokyo, they must find work, but they have no experience, so they become desperate to find something to support themselves. Well, at least Mari does - Atsushi finds the young ladies of Tokyo to be quite distracting. In the meantime, Mari meets Kana, a girl selling party tickets on the street. Although this seems to be a legitimate job, it's just a cover for the much more sordid activities that bring in the real money for the teen (who is even younger than she looks).
At last Atsushi moves from picking up girls to convincing them to perform on camera after he falls in with a group of "scoutmen." Although there's sufficient sexual frankness for the film to deserve its Category III rating, it's closer to a documentary in its desire to make the viewer feel empathy for the rather sad characters who become trapped in this lurid scene.
