Jacky Cheung was especially busy in 1990 -- he also made A Chinese Ghost Story II, Curry and Pepper, Swordsman, Bullet in the Head, and Days of Being Wild. Patrick Tam's acting debut, this film was to be his last for eight years. Guy Lai made directed just one more film the following year, but acted in eight films between 1992 and 1997. John Chong Ching, one of the writers, stopped writing after 1995 but started producing some high profile titles, such as First Option, Gen-X Cops, Tempting Heart, and Visible Secret.
