 | | | | Enjoyable old school basher. Chen Kuan Tai plays an evil Japanese boxer. Lots of fights keep the movie going. I really liked this one. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

| A decent film. Lots of fights. Not the most refined in terms of skill, but they try really hard to distinguish this movie. In some cases they probably over reached in some of the things they attempted. Some of the blood/limb-breaking can look "cheesy". Still, the effort alone is impressive. My complaint would be with the editing/pacing of the film. They flashback a couple of times in an akward fashion. It probably would have been better (to me) if they had just played things out sequentially. The final battle also lost a little. Two of the heroes (the men) are fighting the main Japanese villain while the girls are fighting some generic goons. And in the film they cut back and forth between the fights (in a less than seamless way) that tends to lose momentum for the action. There are also occasions where the guys are fighting and you'll hear one of the girls make grunts, which distracts from the fight you're watching and places your intrest into something you can't see. All of that is minor. The overall product is solid. It doesn't raise itself above its limitations (like "Secret Rivals") but it isn't hindered by them either. |

 | | | | Not bad. This movie has a late 1940's, early 1950's Hollywood production feel, though it was made in the early 70's. It's the kind of movie to watch if you've got some free time to be lazy and pay attention to a plot. Decent. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | Old school movie but not very good. Classic Japanese/Chinese rivalry. Some of the weirdest fight "posing" I've ever seen! Over use of the jumping/flying stuff and sometimes it's simply ridiculous. You have to expect flying stuff in most martial arts movies but here it is poorly done. One positive aspect, it was interesting to see Chen Kuan Tai playing the role of a mean Japanese killer. The fights choreography is weak and the styles of kung fu are very so-so. I guess it is alright to watch once, but then it is easily forgotten. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | Bloody Fight combined Asian angst with the sensibility of a modern love triangle. A definite must in the post-9/11 milieu. A precurser to "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" with the director's use of surreal flight. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |
