This movie is filled with love and romance, in a modern and teenage sort of way. It brings out the best of love at its highest point, where the two people depend on each other. Not a bad effort. This film depends on your tolerance for sappiness and utter insanity. If you have a hard time accepting "outside the box", then you definitely won't like this film. This film is goofy and wacky at times, but that is what I found to be endearing about Para Para Sakura. Aaron Kwok is just so ridiculously dumb at times that I couldn't help but laugh. Cecilia Chung is TOO cheerful and that may annoy some folks but it keeps the tone of the film upbeat.
