Overview:	During the Korean War, in a small village located outside of the range of fighting, two boys try to live normally with their mother. Life in the village is affected by the close proximity of an American military base, with the worry and hardships brought on by the distant fighting. This leads to the boys' mother being hired by the American army to wash their clothes, which changes their lives forever.
