| The setting is an inferno spot where deadly fire consumes everything. In the middle of the fire, two firemen are plunging themselves into the fire. Jun-wu, a warm-hearted man who does not care about the danger in his rescuing activities, and Hyon who believes only rational and reasonable actions can control the fire site. They had some bad experiences each other at their rock climbing in the past, but they are dispatched to the same unit. At their first date at the unit, they quarrel each other as when Jun-wu wants to plunge himself into the fire to save lives while Hyon stops him as they were ordered to leave the place. They finally exchange fists, and Jun-wu gives up. Hyong-soks family dies in the fire as firemen left the site and he hates Hyon who stoppede Jun-wu. Meanwhile, Jun-wu has a girlfriend, Ye-rin. She always worry about him as he does not care his life for his work. One day, the two men are give a task to stop a man who is about to commit a suicide. While they are confronting each other due to their different thought, the man died. The hostile emotion between the two escalates, and Hyon finally quits his job. But, they go to a fire site when they are told that Ye-rin is in an fatal accident spot. |
