| This is the original version of the film, and comparing it to the special edition would be compering two different movies, since all the additions that were made, somewhat changes the experience that you have of the film. I like both versions on their own, and somehow, I like all the parts not explained better than when explained in the special edition, since as mentioned, makes it rawer.
I got the Dolby Digital/DTS edition since I like having both recordings, both of them excellent (the sound was also changed for the special edition), so for those of you who like me are really fans of this film, this version is a must. Also, curiously, the aspect ratio in this edition is better (1.85) than the other editions (1.75 but cropping the sides!). |
