The cover shows Cynthia Khan as a predominant player in this action packed, dark tale but she is only in the very beginning. Feeling ripped, you say? Never fear with this one! This is a true sequel, or rather, part 2 of the continuing saga 'Sting of the Scorpion'. Maggie Shaw and Waise Lee continue their struggle in a tight, grim and gritty saga loaded with action, character intrigue and betrayal. It's brutal, intense and like the first movie, not a make you feel good flick. I love the fact this is a well written (even with subtitles), thought out and acted piece. Don't expect lighthearted humor here, just a seedy world Maggie finds herself in. Two thumbs up! |
