| Overview: | Doctors, nurses, and patients: they make up the hospital. But the hospital is out of step with modern sciences and administration. It is corrupted and backward. Arrogant Professor Chu is an example of this backside.
Intern Kenny, a bright medico with a promising future, speaks out against the system. Professor Chu has no hesitation in failing him at the examination. Kenny stays an intern, much loved and admired by the staff and patients.
Kenny falls in love with May, a social worker and Professor Chu's girlfriend. In no time, Professor Chu downgrades Kenny to be an assistant at the mortuary. Kenny discovers blood clots in May. An immediate operation is called for. But Professor Chu refuses to sanction the operation. Out of desperation Kenny asks his herbal medicine doctor father, his brain specialist superior, and his friend to operate on May illegally in the mortuary. They succeed, luckily. Kenny survives the enquiry. In fact, he is now the hospital's best known surgeon.
