Firstly, this movie was shot on video, and it looks like it, which I hate. Secondly, I am no prude when it comes to violent content, or horror, or gore, and I fully expected this movie to be hardcore in these respects. That being said, this movie is a mean spirited, violence for the sake of violence, piece of junk. The metaphor is clear, and I'm sure I'm plagiarizing some other review that I read: human beings are garbage. I don't feel that bad, because the metaphor is so obvious. Now, I guess my feeling is: NO, human beings are NOT garbage, and if they are, so what? Let's be nice to each other and pretend that we are actually worth something to someone, somewhere. I guess it's kind of notable that if I liked the movie, I wouldn't be upset at the message. But if a movie is supremely, utterly boring, then what else is left to consider?

All Night Long - Final Atrocity is the story of a young man so obsessed with a girl and/or her garbage that after she is raped and nearly killed by his co-workers, he takes her home, handcuffs her to his bed and proceeds to torture her and to document her physical attributes on a computer database (he already has much of her garbage organized on his walls, including used feminine hygiene pads!). Once he kills her in a slight fit of rage, he then dismembers her in his bathtub.

So, this film looks cheap. This film has a very shallow, one dimensional plot, oh, sorry, two dimensional, I forgot the metaphor. Very flat performances. Let's see ... no redeeming qualities at all.

Let me make another attempt to save you some money, because I know that some will be intrigued enough to buy this movie anyway. For all you gore hounds out there: this film is not really that gory. It's also not really that disturbing, simply because it's not executed very well. So if you want your mind bent with weird, horrid images, look elsewhere.

For everyone else out there: go shoot your own movie. It will almost certainly be more interesting.

There is one point perhaps worthy of note. The captive girl is semi-conscious (as opposed to fully-conscious) due to a concussion, so her plight is not quite as horrific as it could have been. I was glad for this, others will be disappointed that the filmmakers whimped out.

I've wasted enough energy on this. Don't buy it. Don't even rent it. If you can borrow it, give it a try if your time means nothing to you. I, uh, didn't like it that much. I actually own it. You don't have to.

DO NOT BUY THIS FILM IF: You don't want to waste your money, time, or soul; you DO want to waste your time, money, and soul (not advised) but want something in return; your DVD player is on fire and probably won't work anyway; or you are on fire (see above: wasting your soul) and probably want to concentrate on your present unfortunate situation.

RECOMMENDATION: Not recommended, not even for silly people. However, there are fans of this kind of ultra low budget mean-spirited pointless stuff. You know who you are.

ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS:
A high school student develops an unhealthy obsession with a girl who lives nearby. Unable to express himself, he begins collecting her trash and eating her leftovers. Unfortunately for her, his obsession does not end there. The boundaries he will cross are limitless, and the distance he will go to satiate his need are beyond redemption. Easily the most extreme, the conclusion to the series reiterates that human existence is meaningless.
