Quite simply a parody based on the arcade game "Street Fighter 2", which was hugely popular in Hong Kong back in the early 90's. As with most of Wong Jing's directed films, it's a slapstick comedy consisting of cheap laughs. Nonetheless, it is quite humorous if you can forgive the low budget filming. I think the success of this film and many other of Wong Jing's films is due to the fact that he knows what the audience wants, and gives it to them.
This is a great movie. Don't expect this to be a really nice action or martial arts movie. It's more a comedy. It's really a Street Fighter Parady...The story is pretty cool--the only thing this movie lacks is more action scenes. This movie even has a Dragonball Z character in it. I love this movie and I recommend it for everyone...
