Overview:	Yojiro Takita directs this gentle satire about status and corporate life in the post-bubble economic malaise of 1990s Japan. Middle-aged salaryman and long-distance running enthusiast Masumi (rock star Eikichi Yazawa) gives his company prestige and visibility by running marathons under the corporate banner. When his bosses reveal the business' financial dire straits and are informed that the company athletic budget has been slashed, Masumi pleas with the bureaucrats to let him run one more race. Meanwhile, he desperately tries to paper over his tenuous job situation while he and his wife (Yuko Tanaka) try to get their 6-year-old daughter into an exclusive grade school.
