Far and away one of Jackie Chan's finest achievements. The fight scenes in this film are so energetic, creative, and fun, you'll find yourself watching this one again and again.
Pretty crazy film with some slow spots, but some dynamite fight and action sequences! Featuring an underwater fight, a ladder fight, and a snowmobile fight!
Though this film is fun, we feel that the amateurish direction severely diminishes its overall effect. Both of the big fight scenes were shot much too close-up to be able to really follow much; and the car races are laughably sped up. There is some real gold hidden among the pyrite, however. Jackie's martial arts performance is consistently energetic, and his trademark acrobatic escapades still wow.
A slightly matured Jackie Chan still wows us with his acrobatic prowess. However, this film just seems to sag in a few too many places...
