Great comic timing and delivery on this sweet, wacky comedy makes this a fun watch. You must be in the mood for a goofy romance to enjoy this film. Looks to have had a sizeable budget as well, and we were very impressed with the direction, sets, and costumes.
Wong Kar-Wai allegedly made this picture as a creative exercise between other big projects...however we feel that this is absolutely his best work. A must for all film lovers.

Plot: Eric Tsang plays Big Gangster Dragon, the aging Hong Kong triad boss who still controls the gang's massive money pool despite his nearing retirement. After rumors of an inside plot to assassinate him, he assembles a secret army to protect himself.
Plot: Wong Jiang and Seven-Up were close buddies in the police. However, Seven-Up received bribes from the gangster Blind Chiu. When Wong planned to arrest Blind Chiu, Seven-Up went to warn him, thus his corrupt scheme was uncovered.
