Plot: Ku, a blind recluse living in a cave, knows the secret of the Buddha's Palm technique, which proves to be a blessing and a curse as it attracts everything from giant birds and magic pearls to miraculous orchids and an army of wushu warriors.
Plot: Almost a full-scale slapstick comedy, as well as a tailor-made showcase for the "odd couple" of Alexander Fu Sheng and Cheng Shao-Chiu. Their wushu squabbling ultimately imperils an incognito emperor, resulting in a sparkling and unexpected family affair.

Not a bad film, and it's fun to see Gordon Liu looking so young (and Eric Tsang, if you can spot him!). But there wasn't enough action, and the whole Pao competition just didn't work for us.
A modern-day (when it was made, in 1977) tale of a poor Chinese immigrant struggling to survive in San Francisco's Chinatown. His fighting skills open up many doors for him, but he struggles to stay the moral course.

Plot: Universally considered one of the best Hong Kong movies ever made, Cheng Pei Pei is Golden Swallow, who teams with a swordsman named Drunken Cat to battle a corrupt Buddhist monk with mystical martial arts powers.

Plot: One of the most joyous musicals to ever grace the Hong Kong screen, it co-stars the husband-wife team of Peter Chen Ho and Betty Loh Ti. The story is convoluted, but the sumptuous production numbers in Hong Kong movie history make up for it.
Plot: Ti Lung unites with Jackie Chan's kung-fu comedic rival, Alexander Fu Sheng, to defeat an assassin being "acupuncturingly" controlled by the demented Dr. Kuo. Acclaimed choreographer Tang Chia's action bits and sight gags are bewitching to behold.
Plot: When the Yuan Dynasty rulers are threatened by the Mongol horde, the titular duo--a pair of lethal swordsmen--protect the imperiled imperial prince.
