Sort of a companion piece to the original "Drunken Master", this film (released just before "Drunken Master") features much of the same cast, crew, and action style. So if you liked DM (and how could you not!?), we highly recommend this film--and vice versa.
This darkly comic, satirical took at militarism boasts incredible action, and mind-blowing special effects that still stand up as some of the finest ever put on film, even ten years after the film was made.
Perhaps good for a laugh, but not much more. Steven Seagal's voice is dubbed by someone else for most of the dialog, which surprisingly doesn't help the film. Gary Daniels is totally wasted in a lame 30 second fight with Seagal. And why is everyone glistening?
