A very odd but beautiful film about a silent man who lives his life in the shadows and corners of other people's. The two main characters say nary a word for the entire film: very unique and thoughtful.
Plot: The head of police lays down a challenge to two of his top subordinates: whichever man captures a violent gang that has been terrorizing Paris will replace him as the head of the Criminal Investigations Department. Now the race is on.
Plot: When a race car driver dies in an accident, his brother strangely starts to take on his personality traits, and even his looks. Soon, a disturbing relationship develops between the brother and the dead man's widow...
Plot: After her son is killed in a car accident, a woman moves from Madrid to Barcelona to search for her estranged husband. She must track him down based only on the information that he is now a transvestite named Lola.

This film is quite brilliant, with stunning visuals, beautiful acting, an interesting story, and generally top quality production values. Very highly recommended for fans of all genres.
An odd but engaging film about a man's last days with his friends and family. There's not much plot; it's mostly just a kind of celebration of the man's life, which unfortunately we didn't find to be all that fascinating or celebration-worthy.
