A collection of trivial, low budget movies to be sure, but together they make for a very fun ride.
This movie's home-made feel is one of its strongest assets. And child actor Michael Baldwin gives an amazing performance, practically stealing the show from the rest of the cast.
Though we're traditionally Tarantino fans and feel lukewarm about Rodriguez, "Planet Terror" was overall a lot more fun than "Death Proof", taking excess to new heights (or depths, as the case may be).
A classic, and for good reason! This thrilling horror-action flick pulls off quite a feat by creating a suspense-filled atmosphere that doesn't crumble--quite the opposite--once the "monster" is on-screen.
