(Yes I saw it on screen back in the day!) I have trained off and on over the years but have finally commited to training in Eagle Claw Kung Fu 2 years ago and hope to test for black belt next year! The beauty of if is now when I go back and watch movies from my Kung Fu collection, I "see" and understand more now that I have had proper training (Physically and mentally.)

Great follow-up to "Executioners of Shaolin", though not really a sequel but more of another version of the story. A bit more humor, but plenty--and I mean plenty--of great action. It was directed by and starred the late Lo Lieh and he did an excellent job on the former and the latter as Pei Mei character. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

So many great fight scenes in this movie, I don't really know where to begin. Kara Hui Ying-Hung is great. Liu Chia Liang has another great movie where nobody has to die (the true meaning of kung fu). Some have said not many fight scenes, but I feel the comedy fights are well done with also a mixture of training fights. The final fight is second to none. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! | | AGREE? | READER COMMENTS | AUTHOR | | Y | I agree, great movie that gave Kara Hui Ying-Hung a chance to take the lead and show what she could do! Good combination of comedy and Martial arts action! | Sgt. T |

Great story, great plot! Lam Ching Ying is excellent as the wing chun teacher. Lots of great fight scenes and Sammo Hung even adds some realistic "application" to real fighting into the plot. Definitely a must have. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | Legend Of A Fighter (see film details) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure
This is one movie that captures the essence of Kung Fu. From the student teacher relationship, and the soft and hard of kung fu and karate. Can't imagine anyone not having this in their collection. Well-paced with plenty of good fight scenes!! A true classic!!!! | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

Great action, Great Plot. Mr Lau did it again. Not just great action, but the "subtle" fights were great. Gordon Liu again is excellent and Wong Yu is always at top fighting ability. Some great cameos of other top Shaw villians also. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

True classic with a great twist at the end. David Chiang has never looked better in my opinion. Kinda slow at first, but the story is good and the last hour with fighting and training sequences really rocks!!! | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! | | AGREE? | READER COMMENTS | AUTHOR | | Y | One of my favorite David Chiang movies! As you stated, its slow at first but it picks up tremendously in the second half! | Sgt. T |

 | | | | The Big Boss (see film details) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts
Great Bruce Lee movie. The HK version has the real dialogue (sub-titled) Which changes the flavor of a few scenes. I assume all bruce Lee fans have this movie which was Bruce's first and I feel that the "low budget" gives it the grittingness that adds to the plot. One of the classics. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | Iron Bodyguard (see film details) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure
Another classic from the late great chang Cheh. The release was in 1973 so the fights are not as "crisp" as the films in the 80's but they are still top notch. Really great storyline and of course Chen Kuan Tai is not only a great fighter but I always thought his acting was always under appreciated. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |
