10 Brothers Of Shaolin (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure The plot is, well, almost non-existent and the fights are very well you know what I mean hit, block, pause, repeat. it's like two fighters performing their katas and being right next to each other, very staged. Watch something like Fearless or a good Donnie yen fight to see the opposite of what I'm trying to say. The fights here look very choreographed vs. the speed and improvisation you would see in the other examples I mentioned. Anyway.....I'd pass on this as there are many other titles worth your $$.
Warriors Two (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure I won't get into any great length about plot twists, direction, cinematography, unless it really stands out. What I care most about is action and fight choreography. The fights here range from average to amazing to just plain silly. Seeing giant Sammo play fight with the little crippled henchmen, while his friend fights for his life in the next room is ridiculous. I do not find humor during life & death situations realistic nor funny. Now Fung Hark On's mantis style is really neat to watch even with a few camera tricks and there are other fights sprinkled throughout that are very entertaining. The Fox version under $10 is a definite buy.
