Operation Scorpio (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This is why I love HK kung fu movies: crazy fights, memorable characters, a great story, superb acting, wonderful humor....I could go on. Although it was tough to follow the story for the first 10 minutes or so with all of the jump cuts, after the setup it's dynamite. A must see!
The Accidental Spy (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts Decent action marred by crappy acting and an outlandish plot. I'm also not a fan of the blatant product placement. Worth it for Chan fans, a rental for everyone else.
War (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts A decent actioner saved by a fabulous twist ending. Yeah, I actually liked the final plot twist; it really brought the film together and brought purpose to the random scenes in between. Much better than what you've heard, highly recommended.

I'm glad somebody else is willing to give this movie the credit it deserves.
The Matrix: Revolutions (product link) Science Fiction / Martial Arts Quite a bit better than most people give it credit for, especially in context as the third act of the three films.
The Animatrix (product link) Animation / Science Fiction Although a couple of the shorts fell flat for me, this collection of "Matrix"-inspired anime is stellar and a must-see for "Matrix" fans.
The Ultimate Matrix DVD Collection [10-Disc Set] (product link) Science Fiction / Martial Arts The ultimate collection for the ultimate "Matrix" fan. Seriously, it's a must-buy.
Spirit Of Jeet Kune Do: Once Upon A Time In High School (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts Wow, did I misjudge this one. What I thought would be a fun schoolyard homage to the Dragon himself ended up being a coming-of-age story peppered with brutal bullying and pointless puppylove melodrama. So, in other words, it captured the spirit of high school pretty well. Still, the film loses its way after one of the main characters leaves, and it never really gets back on track. Definitely worth a watch, but not a must-see by any means.
Chocolate [2008] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Takes awhile to get going, but once it does, hold on! The stunts in this one were less over-the-top than Prachya's previous work, but they were just as intense. A must-see for Thai action fans.

Another YEP! from me! Slow start-action packed middle and end!
Invisible Target (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts A solid action flick, "Invisible Target" is a must-see for anyone who's attracted to explosions, kick-ass martial arts and slick, stylized characters. There are a couple of corny dramatic scenes, but they are well worth the rest of the movie. See it now!

Definitely lives up to the hype. After "Time and Tide" I'll take a look at any Nicholas Tse flick. Great to see him back in badass form in this one.
King Of Kings (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure The great swordplay choreography is undermined somewhat by some over-dramatic acting and a completely transparent plot. Still worth it for swordplay fans.
Crash Masters Swordplay Bundle 1 [4-Disc Set] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Three great films ("Son of Swordsman", "The Sword", and "King of Kings") and one absolute stinker ("The Broken Sword"). It would be a perfect set for swordplay fans if not for that horrible movie.
Shaolin Soccer [Dutch SE 2-Disc Set] (product link) Comedy / Action/Adventure What a great film. Wonderful comedy, exciting and over-the-top soccer action sequences, and a great story, all wrapped up around Chow and co.'s wonderful performances. A must-see!

I agree it's an over-the-top film but it succeeds. The movie is a blast with likeable characters and a great human story it make it a wonderful film.
Invincible Pole Fighter (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure An absolute classic. While Alexander Fu Sheng's absence is felt near the end of the film (understandable, given his untimely death), everything else about this film is absolutely top notch. The fight scenes are unbelievably fluid and realistic, yet completely over-the-top entertaining at the same time. Top it off with a great story and stunning performances, and you have a winner! See it now!
Born To Fight [2004] (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts What a great film. A decent action plot is easily outshined by the phenomenal stuntwork and great acting/storytelling. Easily recommended for Thai cinema/action/crazy stunt fans.
My god, I don't even know where to start with this film...
Appreciators of so-bad-it's-good cinema rejoice: your Holy Grail has been crafted by the phenomenal "Philthy" Phil Phillips and cohorts MC Kung Fu/John Williams (?!?!?).
"City Dragon" tells the tale Ray, a streetwise martial artist whose only initial concern is hanging out with his friends Rick and the aforementioned "Philthy" Phil in an effort to get as much poontang as possible (and not to "roam the streets in search of justice", as certain promos state). In fact, the first third of the movie is dedicated to exactly that: Ray and his "homies" rap-rhyming lame one liners that always seem to work at getting the ladies to bed (full frontal even!). Then Ray meets Tina, who has just left abusive boyfriend John for good. Swept away in a whirlwind romance, Ray and Tina decide to get married, which prompts John into a murderous rage that lands him in a mental institution. Sound retardedly awesome? Believe me, it only gets better from there...
I won't say much more, but the movie has many more hilarious subplots involving the gang and the ending is the most epically cheesy thing I have ever seen (six words: Howie Long's death in "Broken Arrow").
If you haven't seen this, get it now! The DVD versions are cheap as dirt, and you can bet your life that it's money well spent.
The Orphanage (product link) Ghost / Thriller Well crafted/acted, but the narrative fell a little flat around the halfway mark. Recommended for horror fans.
