The City Of Violence (product link) Action/Adventure / Crime Saw this as a trailer and thought might be worth a look? Was it? Yes, very much so. This is one of the [top] films of the year. It has everything you need. It is "Kill Bill" crossed with "Oldboy" crossed with a bit of "Fist Of Fury"/"Game Of Death". It has fights, action, over the top stunts/fights. I'm not one to tell what it's all about, because that sometimes gives the wrong impression, but if you think the trailer looks good, the film is!
The One Armed Boxer (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure I had this on video--it was my brother's when I was younger--and when I saw it on DVD it was a must-have! Jimmy Wang Yu really shines in the epic, the top-notch fight scenes are still as good as the first time back in the 80's. I know all the film buffs will say you can still see his arm behind his back, but who cares. If you love kung fu films this is still one of the best.
