Mad Monkey Kung Fu (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This is one of the best martial arts films ever to come out of Hong Kong. I wish I could give it a higher rating than a five I'd give it 20 stars. The story is not bad and the fights whew what can I say they are awesomely choreographed. Lau Kar Leung is just gracefull and Hsiao Huo is a martial arts wizard. Lo Lieh is also a great villian as usual. This is a must see movie.
Duel To The Death (product link) Action/Adventure / Swordplay/Sword(s) This movie is right up there with the best of them, like "Master Killer", "Five Venoms", "Mad Monkey Kung Fu".
The fight scenes were great and the storyline wasn't the typical revenge. Ok not 100% true, but close enough--it was about honor and a little revenge.
The special effects were great. The scenery that was used was also good. A lot of good characters also, male and female...
So if you want to sit back and watch a good martial arts flick, then this is it.
Chinese Super Ninja (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure "Chinese Super Ninjas" is a great martial arts film if you're looking for lots of action. The story is a little bit weak, but so are a lot of martial arts films and as fans we really want to see the fight scenes anyway. So I would recommend this movie to any martial arts fan.
The Cut Runs Deep (product link) Drama / Crime It's a very good movie, and I should know, I was the action cheorographer on it for John Lee. At first they didn't want martial arts action too much; because director John Lee did not want to make it like your typical so-called Asian movie. Instead he wanted raw street fighting style, more for gangs and not ninjas. I had a great time working with everyone and I'm very happy that the movie has gotten some good exposure and hope to work on the sequel if they call me.
