About half-way throught the film, however, a pistol and a handgun make their appearance.

Cheng Pei Pei is living alone, when she is confronted by robbers who have objects belonging to her missing father. She captures the robbers, and makes them take her to where they last saw her father. Cheng Pei Pei does a great job in the film, but she is not a super martial artist. Her weapons of choise are a whip (ho-hum) and a crossbow (double ho-hum). There are parts of this film that are supposed to be funny, if you think that robbers defecating in the woods is funny; and the rest of the film is a pretty boring mess. The fight scenes are not too bad, but the story seems to have been made up as they went along.
