| BEST DARKHORSE MOVIE OF '07? (276 views) | AUTHOR / DATE |
| Very little publicity, very little hype, no huge stars, but did anyone else feel this was one of the best, most entertaining movies of '07? Apparently produced by Vin Diesel, thank god he didn't act in it. I loved how there was no silly tangents that got in the way of the action. Praying for a sequel on this one... | YoMama 10/9/2008 6:49 PM |
| #2 | I really liked this movie and agree that a HitMan II would be a welcome sequel. The cast did great and the story lines were pretty good, a little far fetched at times, but all the movies of this type are a bit over the top as well. | LS57998 10/17/2008 7:40 PM |
| #3 | Hitman was a very good movie I can't say if it was a faithful adaptation of the video game but as a movie it was pretty much what I expected. I have a bunch of movies that I love that were not very popular and I have to add this one to that list. | Bless01 10/18/2008 7:26 PM |
| #4 | I got a chance to watch this one last night and enjoyed it as well. Almost everything in this film has been done before, but "Hitman" pulled it off with a very nice visual flair and some good action (not great, IMO). I'd definitely recommend it for a fun watch, and would also like to see a sequel. | Choco 10/24/2008 9:25 AM |
| #5 | Not sure that Tim Olyphant was the best choice to play #47, but he does an ok job with a pretty bad script. Plot holes abound, but some of the action was pretty good. Some more actual stealth-based stuff in the movie would've been nice, there's not too many levels of the game where 47 takes out hundreds of dudes with a machine gun. :) | TheDenizen 10/24/2008 9:34 AM |
| #6 | I am usually creeped out by Olyphant, but I thought that he was supposed to be creepy in this role so I let him have it. :) He seems so awkward and uncomfortable in his own skin, I thought it actually worked in this role.
The thing that bugged me most was the bad looping throughout the film. The dialog didn't match the characters' mouths many times. | Choco 10/24/2008 9:40 AM |
