After being abducted by a creepy middle-aged man, Kate Walker, 30, awakens to find herself in a small chamber with wall-to-wall bloodstained cracked tiles. The room looks like it could be part of a long-forgotten asylum, or worse. There is a large locked steel door on one wall. The door opens, and Kate and 19 other people emerge from adjacent chambers. The group soon discovers that they each have been abducted and placed into a nightmarish labyrinth where they are nothing more than sport for unearthly demon-like creatures that stalk and kill their human prey. Almost immediately, a man is dragged into the darkness by one of the creatures. Kate and the others run in the other direction in panic. The hunt is on. As the people run, they split up trying to find safety, but are killed off one-by-one by legions of creatures. Soon the group has been reduced to only a few survivors.
While fighting for survival, Kate is rescued by Ian, a man she has not seen before. He claims he has been hiding from the creatures for weeks, and thinks he has found a way out - but he needs Kate's help. Reluctantly, Kate and Ian form an uneasy alliance to try and escape from the labyrinth and the creatures. Kate and Ian maneuver their way through the labyrinth, encountering evil traps, strange otherworldly environments, and more creatures. Just when Kate and Ian think they have escaped and are free, the twists and turns just begin. Back on Earth the abductor explains that he has made a pact with the creatures. As long as he provides them with fresh souls to hunt, the creatures will spare his life and the rest of mankind. He claims that he must sacrifice Kate and Ian in order to save mankind from unspeakable evil and the end of the world as we know it. | MU69665
