| So, did this ever get fixed? I noticed at K-Mart the other day that their copy had a shiny gold sticker on it, which I hadn't seen before...does that mark a fixed copy?
I can't believe this is even an issue. Boo Universal. | KanYozakura 9/26/2008 4:43 PM |
| #2 | This stupid DVD has been a total nightmare for us! No, we STILL have not gotten fixed copies from Universal. Ugh! I read somewhere that you can tell if the DVDs are fixed by looking at the catalog number on the side of the DVD. If it has a period before the number, it's supposed to be the "fixed" version. But we haven't confirmed this yet...since we are STILL WAITING for freakin' Universal to get off their butts! | Choco 9/26/2008 5:11 PM |
| #3 | I went ahead and bought a copy from [another store] with the dots on either side of the number code (at the bottom of the dvd spine). It does indeed have the extended director's cut as promised. | Mad Monkey 9/30/2008 4:59 PM |
| #4 | Glad to hear you found a good copy. But please refrain from mentioning competitors' names here. | Choco 9/30/2008 5:29 PM |
| #5 | Sorry Choco. Duly noted. | Mad Monkey 10/1/2008 12:52 PM |
| #6 | We finally got our "FIXED" copies today BTW. It has two black dots on the side spine, on either side of the catalog number, plus a black dot sticker on the back of the case, towards the right side. | Choco 10/13/2008 8:38 PM |
