Operation Scorpio is one of my favorites. I have the HKL version and have never bothered with the dub. Thanks for exposing it to me though... I'll need some mental floss to get rid of the whiny sounding crap.
On another note, Kim Won-Jin is fantastic! Do you have any more movies with him?
Yeah, we have most of his films. He has a few aliases, and it looks like we need to clean up his credits in our catalog. But you can see him in "No Problem 2", "Women On The Run", and "China Strike Force" (we'll be adding a couple more versions of this to our catalog on Wednesday).
Thank you Choco for reminding me why I will wait or find some way to purchase the "real reel" when adding to my collection. I can still here that squealing crap that is dubbed!As most people I do have some dubbed because I could not find them subbed. At least you can turn the sound off but the dubbed ones inevitably screw up the story and are edited with a hatchet.
I swear I have seen this guy in a couple of movies not listed here. I'll post if I can find them.
Loved Operation Scorpio, Won Jin along with the rest of the cast pulled off some great characters. Its to bad though he never went on to do any other major roles. Most of his other stuff like in China Strike Force was minor but still great to see him in it.
While writing a review I just had to see this again. All in the interest of a thorough review of course, not as if I wanted to watch it again. I was thinking why did this guy *not* make it? It boggles the mind the pieces of crap who are so called stars and real talent is pushed aside.
The real talent of course is Kim Won-Jin, and Lau Kar Leung naturally. Lau we know is a genius and even in his fifties (born in 1936, yes?)could put most fighters to shame. But where has Won-Jin been? Damn that man has talent!!! Wow! Loved his Scorpion,amazing to see him scuttle around on the floor but the real treat is kicking!
I could have sworn I heard him say(why do I have this ridiculous hair,I can't f'ing see!)He probably doesn't really need to see much! He is so good it's like it would be an honor to have him kick your head off! Just absolutely amazing! Plenty of acrobatic talent as well! Love to watch him kick!!! May need yet another viewing, just for accuracy. ;-)
