| The fight between them has got to be the fight of the century. Chuck Norris vs. Bruce Lee in a Roman Coliseum is such a cool concept it's enough to make one's mind boggle. Not only was the entire fight amazing the ending pity that Bruce Lee has is a rare sight. It is really great. What is everyone's opinion on the fight? | samurai_goemon 9/24/2008 8:48 PM |
| #2 | Yes, WAY OF THE DRAGON is Bruce Lee's best choreographed film. Way ahead of its time. Even today, nothing matches the intensity that guy delivers to the film. They may not be as technically staged as today's martial arts flicks, but I doubt any martial arts can match what he delivers. | City On Fire 9/25/2008 1:20 AM |

| #5 | The Way of the Dragon is Bruce Lee's most personal film. I have a DVD copy from Korea(it's a transfer of the HK DVD). I also have a region 1/NTSC copy on VHS called Return of the Dragon; it may have been marketed as "sequel" to Enter the Dragon even though it was made before). The English dubbed version is missing some scenes(like the nude scene with Malisa Longo or the scene where Tang Lung tries to ask a kid where he can get some food and his gesture scares the kid!). TWOTD is solid on an artistic and technical level, but it does stereotype non Chinese. This film features Bruce Lee fighting Chuck Norris. Norris was a student of Lee's in real life. Ric Meyers' Great Kung Fu Movies book has a picture of Lee and Norris standing near Mike Stone and James Coburn. Bruce Lee was no Chor Yuen or John Ford, but he was a better director than Robert Clouse. | JZ85 10/28/2008 4:42 AM |
