| The synopsis sounds promising enough, but something about the cover and the attached images just makes my skin crawl. Sounds good, looks retarded. Prove me wrong. | the Bottle Kids! 11/18/2008 7:17 PM |
| #2 | I know what you mean. But I heard it's actually pretty good. It has a very original spin to it despite all the common MSG similarities in the trailer. I personally want to check it out. I've read and heard nothing but good about it. | City On Fire 11/18/2008 11:18 PM |

| #4 | Half of the Korean movies that came out after My Sassy Girl were copies; the same can be said of Shiri. Of all the Asian countries that have an established movie industry, South Korea is the absolute worst when it comes to quality and originality of production. I have seen a whole lot of Korean movies yet I don't think I have seen more than two or three original ones out of the whole lot. When they aren't stealing movies from other countries (Tae Guk Gi anyone) they are copying from other Korean film makers. Seriously, anyone who has seen more than ten South Korean movies can probably name five that are almost exactly identical to Shiri or My Sassy Girl. And don't even get me started on how every South Korean movie, even the raunchiest sex comedies, has a melodramatic tear-jerker of an ending tacked on to it. | MS10197 12/30/2008 12:04 AM |
