This movie looks awesome. Okay, okay, I'm only going by the cover here, but look at that puppy!! AWESOME!
The real thing I wanted to bring up here though, is I am a huge supporter of entertainment that isn't all about guns and boobs and swearing just for the sake of trying to lure in a particular type of audience. I have no real problems with these movies, but come on folks, enough is enough. I'm not looking particularly for kids films either. I'm looking for other films that are smart but still hold on to innocence. Anyone have any suggestions?
I definitely think I have surpassed my quota on violence and swearing and gore, etc. Not that I'm a prude, and I ain't mad at that stuff, but... sometimes, I just have to be reminded of niceness instead of, oh, I don't know... jerk UPS delivery drivers who can't stop being Honk Happy every time they pull their truck up. Give "A Tale Of Mari And Three Puppies" a shot - I think you'll like that one. This IS a bit of a tearjerker at times, but there is also lots of love, innocence, understanding, and heart-warming gooeyness in one big pie. Yay!
