| I'll have to take the first one, due to the shock value of the opening sequence, the training scenes, and the finale. But the camper scene in Vol. 2 is priceless. Thoughts? Are we all in agreement on this? Where does this rank among Tarantino's films? | YoMama

| #2 | I enjoyed the first one a lot more. And I mean a LOT more. But it really is hard to judge since originally it was supposed to be one film. I'm still waiting for the "Whole Bloody Affair" release. My fav QT films in order: 1) Jackie Brown 2) Pulp Fiction 3) Reservoir Dogs 4) Kill Bill Vol. I 5) Death Proof 6) KIll Bill Vol II | City On Fire

| #3 | KB1 is awesome, I honestly tried my hardest to like KB2 but couldn't. It was just too chock full of self-indulgent dialog for no reason, especially compared with part 1. Big let down for me, was hoping part 2 would be on par with 1.

| #7 | No, I'd consider myself a Kill Bill fan. Its not that I didn't like Pulp Fiction. Its a good movie, but QT screwed it up by mixing really good actors with incredibly bad actors | YoMama

| #9 | QT meant for KILL BILL to be one film, but Miramax made him cut it into 2 films. So, thinking about both as one movie, KILL BILL is a masterpiece. As separate films, KB1 is also a masterpiece alone. I liked it better than KB2, as the finales was anti-climactic.
I keep hoping the 4-disc set [KILL BILL-The Whole Bloody Affair] will come out with both films edited together as one. See the pre-order list. | WuxiaFan

| #10 | Yeah, I'd love to see a single-movie edit too. But I have to say, if part 2 remains very similar to how it is now, I'd probably have to say that overall I don't think the whole film is that great... :(
That "whole bloody affair" set has been postponed indefinitely, but hopefully they'll set a date soon!
And as for Pam Grier, I thought she was awesome in JB. Quentin got the performance of her career out of her in that one, amazing. | Choco

| #11 | The deleted fight scene betweem Michael Jai White and David Carridine was pretty good,
otherwise besides the trailer fight, Kill Bill 2 was a bit of a let down after viewing KB1. Especially the ending!
KB1 was a lot better and more of a homage to the seventies Kung Fu flicks where as KB2 was the homage to the spaghetti westerns. Frankly they were both entertaining and hopefully ( The Whole Bloody Affair ) will see day light.

| #12 | I also meant to qualify my comments that I'm talking about the Japanese uncut versions of KILL BILL 1&2. Those are THE versions to have, especially Vol 1. Apparently, play-asia.com has both uncut versions, but they are listed as "priced-down" reissues. The actual listing says "uncut Japanese version", but the cover art is different than the original uncut Japanese basic versions listed on this site.
