Oldboy (product link) Thriller / Action/Adventure This was a very good movie. I really only have one problem with it: it's way to long. Just when you think the movie is ready to climax. you look at the timer and realize only an hour has gone by. very surprising. But the story action and acting are all top notch so I of corse stayed to the end and was satisfyed and disturbed all at the same time
The Untold Story (product link) Crime / Thriller [This] is a great film. Now while it definitely more violent than most movies I have seen worse. The only kills that really disturbed me were the child ones near the end. That was some crazy stuff I must say. The film is very well acted and surprisingly funny at time. Most people wont like the humour though.
Battle Royale (product link) Horror / Thriller I just got the special edition of Battle Royale shipped to me and I must say it is one of the best movies I've ever seen. The acting by the surprisingly young cast was great and the special effects were amazing. Unfortunately the movie has a fault. As a huge fan of the book I was very surprised that they cut out the 20 page car chase that climaxed the book. The movie did have great action scenes but seeing the car chase would have made the film perfect. If you haven't read the book then the exclusion of this scene won't effect your opinion. For people who have read the book 4/5. For people who haven't 5/5.
