Haute Tension (product link) Horror / Thriller Watch it alone. The most intense feeling (hopefully you're not gonna get a heart-attack) you have while watching it the first time. Make sure you're not gonna get disturbed and don't give a f*** about the negative reviews. Great, intense and intelligent acting that makes you take the film seriously, so you will not laugh one single time! After having watched it, the weak points of the film became unignorable (story-twist), but it's worth it, and this way the extreme diversity of the protagonists survives a little longer.

You speak the truth. I also think that in instances of artistic creation some leeway should be given to the continuity and consistency for the sake of the overall entertainment value.
Each viewer will have to decide for himself whether the ending is a problem. I agree that any quibbles on that point are insufficient to bring this good film down.
