Flash Point (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts Donnie Yen has outdone all his past movies with this one. The fight scenes are as good as "Dragon Tiger Gate" but with a better story. The final fight in this movie seemed to last forever. Amazing fast pace action with fights that will leave anyone mesmerize.
Dog Bite Dog (product link) Crime / Drama This is one of Hong Kong's very few amazing movies in recent years. I was tired of watching Hong Kong films and getting disappointed every time. I've never heard of this movie before, but luckily I picked the right one. Very hardcore movie. I did not expect the movie to be this good when I bought it. Great movie! Great acting! Great action but sad ending.
Condor Hero [9-Disc Set] (product link) TV Shows/Movies / Martial Arts I don't remember much of the early versions of this series, but I would have to say this is the best one. Best love story ever put on film. The only thing that bothers me is that the female lead looks a little too young. Other than that Condor Hero got me into the Chinese TV series and so far none can compare to it.
Dragon Tiger Gate (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This is the best martial arts movie to have ever been released. It has the most intense fight scenes I've ever seen. When I heard that this was Donnie Yen's best movie, I didn't think much of it. Then after seeing it, I was amazed. The only downside of the movie is that it wasn't long enough. They should have gone into the character's story a little more. Other than that, I love this movie. This is the movie that I've been waiting for!
Turn Left, Turn Right (product link) Romance / Drama I'm a fan of both Takeshi and Gigi, that's why this is my favorite romantic comedy. Even though this is a chick flick, I highly recommend this movie. It's very much like "Serendipity", which is also one of my favorites.
Casshern (product link) Action/Adventure / Science Fiction I've seen several Japanese films, and I have to say this is probably the best Japanese movie. The special effects isn't all too good for a live action movie but, the story and characters kept me in it. If you like the anime version then you'll like this movie.

This movie is absolutely awful. It may be the most boring movie I have ever seen in any language.
Shinobi (product link) Action/Adventure / Fantasy The best ninja movie I've seen so far. The CGI, the story, and the action were all good. One problem I see in this movie is that there are too many characters. It should have been more about the two leading roles. Let's just say there's not enough time to actually fall in love with any of the characters.
SARS Wars: Bangkok Zombie Crisis (product link) Comedy / Action/Adventure I love zombie movies, but I have to give this movie 3 and a half stars [out of 5] because there's not enough zombie action. There is a lot of comedy though and a couple of stupid humor. I say the humor makes up for the absence of not enough zombie chase.
An Empress And The Warriors (product link) Martial Arts / Drama Disappointing! Kelly Chen and Leon Lai played a good pair, but I'm sorry to say Donnie doesn't fit this role. I guess Donnie should stick with the modern day action flick rather than period pieces. There are a few good parts in the movie, but sometimes the scenes goes by so quickly that it seems the movie is skipping some parts. This movie had potential, it was just bad direction that made it a disappointment.
