The Last Hurrah For Chivalry (product link) Swordplay/Sword(s) / Martial Arts Surprisingly good movie. I am not typically a "wuxia" fan, but this movie was well done. Wei Pei was very good in this movie, and it has more and better action than I expected. A good solid swordfighting movie that is well paced with an interesting plot.
The Killer [1989] (product link) Bullet Ballet / Drama Very good action flick that stands the test of time. Chow Yun Fat is still cool with both guns blazing simultaneously. A very good actioner with impressive acting and a good plot. Beware, this is NOT a martial arts movie.
Wheels On Meals (product link) Martial Arts / Comedy Very silly and disappointing film. The only scene of any value is the fight between Jackie Chan and Benny "The Jet". Other than that scene, fast forward should be liberally applied.

I agree 100% that this is disappointing, although you were more generous with the stars than I was. For some reason unknown to me, we are are in the miniority.
Avenging Warriors Of Shaolin (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Excellent movie. I enjoyed every minute of it. All the fight scenes are well staged and the movie is well paced without a long boring stretch. Lu Feng has his best performance in this movie. A must-see.
Marco Polo (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Not bad, but not one of my favorites. Considering all the starpower in it, I was disappointed with the final product.
Life Gamble (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Surprisingly good. Kuo Chui gives a very restrained and mature performance. One of my favorite Venoms movies.
Men From The Monastery (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good, solid 1974 Shaw Bros. movie. I liked how they split the movie into four parts--one part each for a subplot involving Chan Kuan Tai, Alex Fu Sheng and Chi Kuan-Chun--then put them together for the finale. The choreography was a bit primitive but not bad.
Legendary Weapons Of China (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Solid HK kung fu outing. Despite all the plaudits it has received, I do not count it as one of my favorites.
The Flying Guillotine (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Disappointing. The only thing that saves this movie is Chen Kuan Tai and the "flying guillotine." Plot is very slow and fighting is sporadic.
Duel Of The Iron Fist (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good 1971 HK weapons movie. The interplay between Ti Lung and David Chiang is tense and vibrant (it would go on to serve them well throughout the years). Mostly a knife-fighting movie, not much hand-to-hand or empty-hand combat.
Chinese Super Ninja (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good fighting movie. The plot is fairly generic but the choreograohy is very good. I was sorry to see Lo Mang's character killed off so early. However, Cheng Tien Chi's relationship with Chen Pei Hsi provides sparks and venom simultaneously.
The Boxer From Shantung (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Chen Kuan Tai carries this movie. For once, the plot and actors' (no-martial) skill enhanced the movie. For a 1972 HK movie, the fighting was good. The entire package is well worth seeing.
The Avenging Eagle (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good quality kung fu movie. Ti Lung and Alexander Fu Sheng team up well together despite their different styles. Lung is the handsome quiet and serious character. Fu Sheng is the trickster always looking for a fight.
The 18 Bronzemen (product link) Martial Arts / Historical Okay movie. Carter Wong does a decent job, although his non-fighting screentime is stiff. Does have a surprising plot twist at the end. Worth the price it goes for.
Fists And Guts (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure The first 85% of the movie was slow and without much quality choreography. The plot twist at the end and Gordon Liu fighting Lo Lieh saves it from getting a lower grade.
Fist Of The White Lotus (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure One of my favorite Shaw Bros. movies. Gordon Liu is fantastic, as is Lo Lieh. What more can one ask for than Gordon Liu as a monk fighting Lo Lieh as Pei Mei? A classic every Shaw Bros. fan should own.
The Kid With The Golden Arm (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure One of my favorite Venoms movies. The plot is okay, but the fighting with a wide assortment of weapons is fantastic. Wei Pei does a very good job as the arrogant, overly cocky swordsman. May "Agent Hi To" live forever!
Masked Avengers (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Very dark and ominous. The fighting is good but I did not like all the bloodletting (more than usual for Chang Cheh--yes, it is possible!). It does have a certain mystery element to it. Not bad, but not one of my favorites.
Three Evil Masters (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure One of my favorites. Chen Kuan Tai gives one of his better performances as the arrogant yet moral kung fu master. I was very pleasantly surprised by Yuen Tak's performance. He blended the action with comedy very entertainingly. A must for all kung fu movie fans!
Shaolin Master Killer (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure The absolute best martial arts movie ever! I have seen over 350 martial arts movies and still have not found its equal. Made Gordon Liu a star and me a lifelong fan. The training scenes are brilliant and crisp. The actual combat focuses on the use of the training learned and applies it in life or death situations. Not only is it a great kung fu movie but also an emotional roller coaster.
Executioners From Shaolin (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure A great movie! This movie got me hooked on Chen Kuan Tai and Pei Mei. The fighting scenes are realistic and well choreographed. The viewer really gets an opportunity to root for the good guy then root for his son. A very satidfying movie for great martial arts as well as a plot that keeps you interested. Lo Lieh is awesome as the main villian!!!

It's quite entertaining if you pay attention. It's not about just kicking some MF's ass.
The Hot, The Cool And The Vicious [DOUBLE FEATURE 1] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This was the second Dorian Tan film I had seen. I am not a big fan of non-Shaw Brothers martial arts movies but this one was a pleasant surprise. The fighting was good and the plot moves along at a good pace and has a few unexpected twists. If you like Dorian Tan I highly recommend this movie and if you are not particularly a Dorian Tan fan I still recommend it.
