Warriors Two (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This film shares the spot with "Prodigal Son" as the best Wing Chun movie ever. Great training scenes, great acting, great story.
The Big Boss (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts What can you say about this movie that hasn't been said already? Although it's Bruce Lee's first big Hong Kong movie, it's easy to see why audiences stood up and took notice of this guy. Once his character joins in the fight with the thugs at the ice factory, his on-screen presence (not to mention his fists) is explosive. The movie has a couple of typical gags, such as punching a guy through a wall and leaving a body-shaped hole, the high jump-kicks, and jumping over walls. Even though Lee hated these "hokey" elements, it's good to see how his films started in order to appreciate how much better they got once he was able to take make them the way he wanted.
