Five Superfighters (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Action was okay. But the story didn't make sense to me. Why did all three lie to their potential masters? And why kill the guy at the end?

This is a classic, one of the best the Shaw Brothers ever produced,
Blade Of Fury (product link) Martial Arts / Swordplay/Sword(s) Action was good. It just seemed to me that the film tried too hard to copy elements of Bruce Li and Jet Li films. With the martial abilities of the actors, I feel the movie could have been better.
The Kung Fu Instructor (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good movie. I thought the finale could have been a little better. Still a solid product from Ti Lung, Guk Fung, and Wong Yu.
A Touch Of Zen (product link) Martial Arts / Swordplay/Sword(s) More though provoking drama than action film. The length took from the overall film, but great story.
The Heroic Ones (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This was a good movie. And as much as I love Ti Lung, I couldn't give it more than 3.5 stars. Two reasons: 1) If the family knew they couln't trust the rebels, why get drunk in their stronghold? 2) The final fight scene seemed like they had to just throw something in. If not for the finale, 4 to 4.5 stars would have been my rating.
Two Champions Of Shaolin (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good movie. A bit slow at times; the fight scenes were good. Lo Meng, once again, is the headstrong and gullible. Chin Siu Ho does a good job, although I would have loved to see him join in the final battle with Lu Feng. Recommended.
All Men Are Brothers (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good movie. Some of the characters did things that didn't seem to make sense to me, but still a good one.
Shaolin Temple [1976] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good movie. Interesting that this one was made after 5 Masters of Death. My only bone to pick is that in 5MOD (made first) they didn't know who the traitor was. But in Shaolin Temple (which occurs before 5MOD), Ti Lung fought the traitor? Small oversight, still a recommended movie.
Tiger Cage 2 [US Version 1] (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts Great action. Donnie's fight with Salvitti is not to be missed. I think the movie could have done without Cynthia Kahn, her role seemed to be just thrown in. Robin Shou was great in his acting and his action scenes.
The Deadly Duo (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good action with Ti Lung and David Chiang. Nice to see this duo in their developing stages.
The Mystery Of Chess Boxing (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good movie, a little much for me on the comedy. The finale was cool except for one aspect that was way too hokey for me. But still good.
Killer Clans (product link) Swordplay/Sword(s) / Martial Arts A little slow at times, but overall a great flick. The continual plot twists were a great touch. Not only good martial arts but it was a great story as well. I was pleasantly suprised.
Legend Of The Fox (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Chin Siu-Ho impressed me with his acting and his abilities in this one. Funny seeing Chiang Sheng as a villian and Lu Feng as a hero. The set-up for the finale was interesting and refreshing as well. Recommended.
Come Drink With Me (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great story. I was a little disappointed with some of the fight scenes, they just didn't seem to have enough energy, but King Hu definitely impressed me with this one.
Masked Avengers (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure I like this one better than Kid with the Golden Arm. The final showdown is great and Lu Feng never ceases to amaze me.
Have Sword, Will Travel (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great movie. It's amazing how much you see this movie's influence on the western classic "Shane". Ti Lung really stole the show from Chiang, in my opinion.
Ninja In The Deadly Trap (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Ti Lung, Phillip Kwok, Lu Feng, and Chiang Sieng together! The only slight problem I had with the movie is that the shots of the fights scenes seemed a little too close. Also, I thought the final fight with the ninja master could have been more creative. But I still recommend it.
The Heroes [Tai Seng] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure The action was a little slow-paced for me, but good (that's why 4.5 instead of 5) Ti Lung, excellent, as always. The story was awesome, my older brother keeps bringing up the plot when talking about this one, so it has to be great!
Shaolin Prince (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great movie. Ti Lung was great as always, Derek Yee was solid, kinda stretched it a bit with the "three stooges" monks, but still good. Great and creative fight scenes.
The Killer [1989] (product link) Bullet Ballet / Drama This is Chow Yun-Fat and John Woo at their best. Great story, great acting, great action. 'Nuff said.
Martial Arts Of Shaolin (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Seeing a young Jet Li is a treat. The individual and ensemble fight scenes were great. It made you want more.
Shaolin Master Killer (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure A true classic in every sense of the word. Liu is at his best. This movie inspired many a kung-fu junkie!
Shaolin Challenges Ninja (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Gordon Liu displays great overall martial ability in technique and weapons in this one. Good story too.
Shaolin Martial Arts (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Fu Sheng and Chi Kuan Chun are a great complement to one another. The comedic Fu Sheng, the stoic Kuan Chun are a solid team. Although a long movie, I didn't mind a bit. The action was well paced, and the training sequences were a great touch.
