Set in North America, "Paper Marriage" is about a down and out gambler (Sammo Hung) trying to clear his debts by entering into a fraudulent marriage with an immigrant (Maggie Cheung) who's after a Green Card.
There are many fine comic and slapstick moments. And what Sammo movie would be without some kick-ass action scenes? Rest assured, you won't be disappointed, and Billy Chow does well to add to it.
Sammo's real wife (Joyce Godenzi) plays his ex in this feature. Plenty of good laughs from Maggie and Sammo in a fun flick. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed. |
