Ong-Bak 2 (product link)
Martial Arts / Action/Adventure

It should be noted that this film is neither a true sequel or prequel even though it takes place in Thailand and in a more ancient time than "Ong-Bak". The only connection between these movies is the statue from the first movie. However, the martial arts shown in this movie are astounding! Also the weapon skill showcased and the brutality of the fights are top notch! With this film you get kendo, Muay Thai, kung fu, and some drunken boxing, just to name a few. Also this movie is the first time I have ever seen Thai ninjas. This film really showcases the level of skill and style Tony Jaa has, and owning it is a no brainer for any martial arts fan. A++++

Horror / Thriller

This film is a work of independent art! There were times in the film it really looked like these people were just catching things as they came and the actors were reacting to things as if they didn't know wtf was going on. I haven't seen the American remake of this yet ("Quarantine"), but at least now I know the roots of the American film--as if Hollywood has any original ideas anyway. Anyhow this is a must-own for horror fans or for anyone that wants to know where things actually come from.
