Are you sure you were watching THIS movie? The Good The Bad and The Weird was an extravagant production with a hilarious tory that made perfect sense and was well acted by three of South Korea's top leading men.
Black Belt (product link) Martial Arts / Drama Totally different, realistic. Most people won't get this, but "Black Belt" is a lesson learned, about choices we make and the growth we develop through our experiences, and standing on our morals and principles.
The Twilight Samurai (product link) Drama Excellent, I could almost envision this as a true story. It has everything that I always like about Japan. I enjoyed the sensual nature of the women dipicted in these scenarios, and a father who honored his wife and later found love, along with the girls he raised.
Chocolate [2008] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Very good. Some who saw it said it was a bit over the top, which I though also, otherwise I'd give it five stars. This movie packs a wallop. I enjoy the kid that looks like a junior. His style was unique, but the youg woman's ability to adapt was just as exceptional. My hat's off to the director and actors, stunt people, and martial artists in this movie.. They've outdone themselves.
