Shaolin And Wu Tang (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great movie. Gordon Liu does it again. It's a great story of friends from different schools who are eventually framed and have to fight against each other to see whose school is superior. Lots of action and great choreography.
Tai Chi Shadow Boxing (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great action movie. I'm a fan of different styles of kung fu. This was the story of two friends who were taught the Magic Kung Fu Style which consinsted of many different techniques. They eventually use it to counter the infamous Buddah Palm. Great action.
Grand Master Of Death (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This movie was pretty good. The action sequences were nice. It stars Fu Sheng as a student who was kicked out of his kung fu school because he went against a local gang who terrorized the town. He was sent away to improve his kung fu skills and return once he has improved. Good movie. There were a few scenes that lacked great action, but okay overall.
Born Invincible (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great action movie. My top pick. I love a great villain who is hard to beat. The villain was a Tai Chi expert who was basically invincible unless you found his vulnerable spot. Almost like Pai Mei from the White Lotus Clan. Great action sequences.
Raiders Of Buddhist Kung Fu (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Not one of Gordon Liu's best. This movie was okay. Kinda' hard to follow at times. Not great action sequences.
The Mystery Of Chess Boxing (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Excellent movie. Great action sequences. The story of a master of the 5 element style looking to get revenge. He eventually runs into all of the masters that he is looking to defeat. The good guys had a lot of work to do to prepare for this master. Excellent movie.
The Four Invincibles (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This movie was interesting. It really didn't get good until the end with the Cripple Fist technique. Not my favorite movie, but kinda' interesting.
The Buddhist Fist (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great movie. The story of two friends who grew up learning different techniques of the Buddhist Fist. One friend was a monk and the other a student. They eventually meet up as adults with their techniques and try to figure out who's trying to steal a sacred jade statue from the temple. It has a twist to it, but it's in the end.
Mad Monkey Kung Fu (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Another Lo Lieh great. The story of an opera performer who gets set up to lose her sister as a concubine. He loses face behind this and gets punished. He eventually finds out that he was set up and trains a student in the Monkey Fist. Lots of action, excellent fight sequences. 2 thumbs.
The Avenging Eagle (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This movie was okay. I really expected a lot more from the villain. It was the story of a member of the Eagle Clan who escaped his group because he was tired of senseless killing. The Eagle Clan is after him to eliminate him for leaving.
The Bare Footed Kid (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good action movie starring Ti Lung. Very good story and action sequences. In this movie the Bare Footed Kid (Ti Lung) was taken in by the store owner of a silk screening shop. Of course there were bad guys. They tried to muscle in on the store to take control. Ti Lung was skilled in kung fu and tried to come to their aid. This movie had a few funny scenes also. Some of the studio tracks were fading in and out, but overall it was fine.
Raiders Of Wu Tang (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This movie had well-choreographed fight scenes. It was the story of a horse rancher (Little Lu) who was taught by his crippled uncles how to master the 24 bronze horses of Shaolin. He has to finally face the bad guy (priest of the Wu Tang). I love a great villain, and this movie had one. Four stars.
Shaolin Prince (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This movie was not my cup of tea. There was a lot of superhuman flying and floating through the air. It took away from the actual great fight scenes. The storyline was good, but the occult scene and the superhuman flying could have been left out.
Long Step Mantis (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great movie. I love the action sequences and the stunts. Great story and villain. Excellent movie.
Shaolin Hand Lock (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This movie was 3 stars in my book. Not one of Lo Lieh's best but it was okay. Decent fight sequences. Nothing spectacular.
The Ultimate Jet Li Collection [4-Disc Set] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great box set (Jet Li) collection. My favorite was "Claws of Steel". This movie was reminiscent of "Iron Monkey". From the character Wong Fei Hong to the well-choreographed fight scenes: outstanding. "Shaolin Temple" 1 and 2 were mediocre movies. They were not as serious as "Claws Of Iron". My second favorite is "Evil Cult". Overall this box set had a mixed level of action, but was good.
Martial Arts Of Shaolin (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure "Martial Arts of Shaolin" (aka "Shaolin Temple 3") was the best of the series. This was more of a classic Jet Li style movie. I didn't care much for the storyline, but the fight scenes were nice. If you plan to watch this series, start with "Shaolin Temple" 1 and 2, then watch this installment. This was the best of the series.
The 18 Bronzemen (product link) Martial Arts / Historical Great movie. Loved the fight scenes with the Bronzemen of Shaolin. I am looking forward to the sequel, "18 Bronzemen 2". Great story and action scenes.
The Invincible Armour (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure My type of movie. Great white-haired/bearded villains. Loved the Iron Finger technique. A must-see if you love the "Hard To Kill" villain movie. Excellent movie.
I thought the story was okay and the fight scenes were very good. I was looking for a little more toughness from the villain, but overall it was a well put together movie.
Invincible Pole Fighter (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great Gordon Liu film. He also stars with one of the Venom stars, Alexander Fu Sheng. Good story and very good fight sequences.
The 7 Commandments Of Kung Fu (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This movie was mediocre. Not my best choice of a Mantis Style movie. The fight scenes were good, but the story was a little slow. I didnt care for the final fight scene.
The 18 Bronzemen 2 (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure I really expected this movie to be just as good as the first one. The story was not put together well and ended with many loose ends. Had it not been for the fight scenes and the 18 Bronzemen, I would have given this movie a "1". Don't get too excited about buying this movie.
The World Of Drunken Master (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Not the best drunken style movie. It went from one main villain to two more. I'm not sure why this story was written the way it was, but it seems like they ran out of plot before they finished the movie. Don't go out and rush to buy this movie.
The Eighteen Jade Arhats [PanMedia] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great movie. I loved the fight scenes and the story. A great cast, including Lo Lieh.
There were some dark scenes in the movie where you could not see the fights scenes too well, but they were brief. Two thumbs up for this movie.
Thou Shall Not Kill...But Once [Xenon Ferocious Monk Cover] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This movie was okay. It has a very similar story as "Killer Priest". Story was good. The fight scenes were mediocre. This was just an okay movie.
Seven Steps Of Kung Fu (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great action movie. I liked the fight sequences and the villains (5 Hand Gang).

Shaolin Iron Claws (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good movie. The plot was a little confusing at first, but the fight scenes made up for it. I didn't quite get to see much of the iron claws though. It's an overall good action movie.
Savage Killers (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Good movie. I enjoyed this movie, but I could not help but think of the movie parody "Kung Pow". Entertaining and good fight scenes with the Tiger and Crane styles.
Lightning Kung Fu (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Not my favorite movie. The story was good, but the fight scenes were at best mediocre. Don't rush to buy this movie.
Shaolin Wooden Men (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Another great Jackie Chan movie. I loved the story and the fight scenes. I really didn't think it would be as good as it was. It started out a little slow, but picked up after the defeat of the Wooden Men. Great movie.
The Lizard (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This was not the best movie in kung fu action, but I loved the story. Another good Lo Lieh movie. It's worth the Saturday DVD night.
Snake Deadly Act (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Another great martial arts film. I'm not sure if the Lobster Style was the official name of the style used by one of the characters, but it was very good. A must-see.
Snake Shadow Rivals (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This was not a very good movie. There was no snake style, as the title implied. The fight scenes were mediocre at best. Don't rush out to see this movie.
Shaolin Traitorous (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Another good Carter Wong film. A good story and great martial arts action. So far this is one of his best movies.
Stranger From Shaolin (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Great action movie. I was not familiar with the stars of this movie, but the story and fight sequences was very entertaining.
Wu Tang Magic Kick [Crash Cinema 2-Disc Set] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure A pretty good movie. I was expecting a something different with the Magic Kicks--they seemed to be kicks that John Liu does in his other movies. It was an okay movie.
