This movie is well worth [the money]. If you're looking to start a possible International DVD collection then I suggest picking up a copy of this. Whether it be the Hong Kong Release (which has exta endings) or The USA edition.
Masked Rider 555 [The Movie] (product link) Animation / Science Fiction I set my expectations high for this film, maybe that was a mistake, maybe not? Anyhow, I thought this movie was horrible and the storyline was way too complicated to follow for a "superhero" flick, which is supposed to be appealing to all age groups. The action sequences, special effects, and storyline are nothing extraordinary or cool. This movie seriously resembles a Power Rangers movie and I would have more fun watching "Warriors Of Virtue" than this piece of garbage.
If you are new to the "Masked Rider" series, like myself, then I suggest avoiding this flick and checking out other "Masked Rider" content. perhaps I missed something? A prequel or previous episodes which lead up to the movie, I'm uncertain but the storyline left me in the dark.
Truth Or Dare: 6th Floor Rear Flat (product link) Comedy / Drama A few scenes are hysterically funny while others are a bit dull. Brilliantly crafted but also very silly and more importantly it's a light hearted "teen-comedy" which does not need raunchy humor, pie humping, or excusive amounts of nudity to capture your attention.
Ditto (product link) Drama Beautiful, intriguing, cute, sad, and humorous. One of my favorite Korean films. I'm not much of a "softy" but this film literally moved me in so many ways.
Alone In Love [Korean 10-Disc Set] (product link) TV Shows/Movies / Drama
This is the first Korean Drama I have ever watched and I absolutely adored it. Out of the hundreds of Korean serious available, I decided to go with this series as my very first Kdrama. What attracted me to this show is mainly the realistic storyline and all the good reviews I've come across. I'll admit at first I was a bit skeptical if this series could live up to all the online hype, but it did just that!
A lot of people may have a beef with this series due to the fact it's a bit slow paced. Yes, it's a slow but only at first--it quickly picks up after the second episode. The primary episodes are more character introductions, which are very important if you want to sympathize with characters; and I enjoy that a lot in a TV series. Character development is a necessity if you are to feel any emotion toward these fictional people.
Witty humor and dialog, an all star cast (Gam Woo Sung--"The King & The Clown"), along with tons of heartfelt moments makes this one amazing series.
A Millionaire's First Love (product link) Comedy / Romance Who would have thought the director of such a boring film like "Volcano High" could create such a heartfelt romantic comedy like "A Millionaire's First Love"? This is an amazing film. One of Korea's best films of 2006 in my own opinion. Lee Yeon-hee ("Emperor Of The Sea") is absolutely stunning and her performance is grand and moving - I was teary eyed.
Warriors Of Heaven And Earth (product link) Drama / War Breathtaking scenery, solid storyline, brilliant swordplay and action sequences, great cast including Vicki Zhao ("Shaolin Soccer"). An epic in every aspect.
Well worth owning, and definitely worth the price!
DOA: Dead Or Alive (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts I'll give this film 1 star at least for featuring sexy girls in skimpy outfits, but this has to be one of the worst movies I have ever watched.

Eh, the film isn't that bad. It has its moments of glory every now and then. It ain't a masterpiece, for certain. But it's not totally bad. :-/

Born To Fight [2004] (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts I see a lot of people comparing this film to other Thai films such as "Tom Yum Goong" and "Ong-Bak", but I honestly feel like this movie surpasses both in every deparment: acting, action, choreography, and especially storyline.
Crying Freeman (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts I'm not familiar with the anime, but I've been a fan of Mark Dacascos since I watched "Only The Strong" back in the early 90's. I've tried to make an effort to keep up-to-date with all his films. This is surprisngly one of the few that managed to slip through the cracks. A lot of the DVDs were OOP but I finally found a legit edition courtesy of HKFlix.com. Thanks
Anyhow, this film met my expectations and I think this movie was released in the right era. Early 90's. If released today the stunts would be way too fake with excessive usages of "wirefu".
I'm interested in seeing what Christophe Gans will release in the future.
She's On Duty (product link) Action/Adventure / Crime I really enjoyed this film. Like, a whole lot. Usually this type of cinema is not really my thing, but honestly this film is wonderful.
Warriors Of Heaven And Earth (product link) Drama / War A fantastic Chinese epic. Typically this is not the type of action film I really sink my teeth into but I found myself enjoying this quite a bit. It's really different, not so much in storyline or action sequences but just different as it doesn't really resemble the majority of Asian swordsplay films being released.
Texas, Adios [5-Disc Set] (product link) Western / Action/Adventure Mediocre spaghetti western. If you're a fan of the genre or Franco Nero it's worth checking out, but nothing new here folks.

The Beast (product link) Fantasy / Erotica This is one of the most bizarre films I have ever watched. It's definitely not for everyone. (The 3-disc set is pretty impressive and I would only suggest buying it. Considering the set has three versions of the movie, its well worth the price.)
Feel 100% (product link) Comedy / Romance I was not even able to finish this film, which bums me out completely. This is one of those movies were you hear so much hype about how wonderful it is but in the end it doesnt meet your expectations, not only that but it sucks! Major upset.
B13: Banlieue 13 (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts Solid action film. Storyline is pretty cheesy but the over-the-top action sequences make up for the films major flaws.
Jade Warrior (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure 'Jade Warrior' is the first martial arts film to come from Finland. Sounds intriguing eh?
Well, I think I may have made a mistake going into this film because I was convinced it was going to be a power house action film. I don't know about anyone else but when I read the words "martial arts" to describe a film I immediately picture action sequences like whoa!
In the end 'Jade Warrior' is more of a fantasy-drama. Make no mistake there are a few action sequences tossed in but be warned this is not a Finnish 'Hero'.

I have to agree with you there, this film didn't cut it as a martial arts film, and the fantasty-drama elements left me bored.
this movie features some tasty fight scenes, of course the plot is weak and some questionable rocket wielding stunts, but definately not a garbage movie
Red Wolf (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure I have mixed opinions about this film. It started off all right and had tons of potential but then things started downhill really quickly. In my own opinion the action choreography is nothing spectacular or very original. Different strokes for different folks though.
Also the comedic elements in this film pretty much ruin the mood for me. I couldn't get over the fact the movie featured scenes of multiple murdering (The ballroom sequence) occurring then within a few minutes a 'LOL' moment followed. What the hell?
The Big Swindle [SE 2-Disc Set] (product link) Comedy / Crime Fantastic heist flick with a very witty story premise and quite a few surprises throughout the film. The ending is satisfyingly as well as the movie as a whole.
Blood Brothers [2007] (product link) Triad / Drama Features an overall visionary style similar to the classic hardboiled film noir flicks of the 50's. Gangsters, romance, nightclubs, excessive gunplay. It's a wonderful period film. Recommended.
Mad Detective (product link) Drama / Crime I went into this film with low expectations only to be blown away. This is one of the more original and all around solid films I've seen outta' Hong Kong in awhile.

Same here I had low expectations, but completely blown away by the story, characters and pacing with a great score this movie was a blast.
