| I've got to say that I really disagree with the other reviews on this site. The fights are pretty bad, with people just doing the one-twos as they have learned them. People are blocking and ducking way before the attack has begun and at times they don't even look at each other, just keep doing their one-two moves as they've practiced.
The final scene in which Li kills the bad guy made me laugh out loud, because it's horribly bad. Li kicks the head of a showroom dummy which just CANNOT be taken seriously by anyone over the age of three.
The story is somewhat interesting, but really we're here for the action and this isn't much even on a Bruce Li scale. His movies are generally much more entertaining than this.
There are some good ideas in the fight scenes, and some fairly interesting setups, but it all falls flat due to the incompetent filmmaking and 9-to-5 fighting from the actors.
All in all, this is a truly forgettable piece of low-budget trash recommendable only to Bruce Li fanatics. |
