Drunken Master 2 (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Arguably Jackie Chan's best movie. Incredible fight choreography by Yuen Wo Ping.

You're right that it's a great film, but the choreography is a collaboration of Jackie Chan and Liu Chia Liang/Lau Kar Leung. Many of the early sequences are in Lau's style, but Chan is entirely responsible for the final sequence.
Before I saw it in theatres, I had no idea what the movie was about, nor did I see any trailers. It does start off a bit slow, but as soon as we see the first evening fight scene between Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi the movie kicks into high gear. I still recall the theatre roaring with applause and cheers at the end of the fight.
"Crouching Tiger" is a great example of a character-driven kung-fu movie. Ang Lee masterfully weaves the stories of the movie's main characters, and the actors deliver spectacular performances. While there are some awesome fight scenes, the focus of the movie is in its characters and their predicaments.
I cannot recommend this movie enough! It definitely has all the elements of an Oscar worthy movie: spectacular cinematography, a haunting score, and incredible direction.

Superb, even with the fantastical wire-heavy action.
Not my favorite movie, but I really did love it. Many serious kung fu film fans dismiss this film for its fantastical wire-heavy action, but if you can go with the flow and experience the film as a whole, there's plenty there to love.
Red Cliff (product link) Drama / Historical I absolutely loved this movie! Great action and acting from the entire cast. John Woo is back, and with a vengeance!
I have never read "The Romance Of The Three Kingdoms", so my review is based solely on the film's merits. John Woo's direction and cinematography were some of the best I've seen in some time. Each actor was given plenty of time to shine in the spotlight. The movie had a wonderfully epic scope.
I highly recommend this film to any period action fans. I am eagerly awaiting the release of "Red Cliff 2" on DVD!
Invisible Target (product link) Action/Adventure / Martial Arts I had high expectations for this movie, but unfortunately it fell flat. I thought the storyline was very contrived and corny. The characters were not engaging in the least, and I found myself not really caring what happened to them. Nicholas Tse and Shawn Yue did not put in convincing performances. Jaycee Chan may be the only of the three who actually put some emotion to his character.
Also, the action was mediocre at best. The fight scenes weren't explosive enough to compensate for the weak story. I found it frustrating to see Nicholas Tse and Shawn Yue open up the movie kicking a lot of butt then as soon as they meet Wu Jing and his gang they're unable to even remotely keep up.
This movie could've really used a cool plot twist or some clever elements, but unfortunately that only happens in one scene involving the guys after a fight. I don't recommend this movie at all.
I have to question your state of mind when watching this movie, perhaps your expectations were set way too high. Please get a legit copy of this movie and see it again. Definately near classic material. Remember, it's an action movie
Wow, I TOTALLY disagree. Even if you were let down by this film, I don't see how zero stars is reasonable. Just the action alone merits far more than that. Too bad you weren't able to enjoy it.
