The main plotline revolves around a mythical scenario where a vicious moon monster is reborn periodically who can only be dispatched by a virginal warrior woman. The moon monster shows up and starts killing people and the police get involved, as do a college professor and his brother.

Ultimately this comes off kind of like "Miami Vice" meets "The Devil's Sword" (from Indonesia) as police work meshes with flying sorceresses and magic lightening bolt-emitting swords. There are a lot of character and plot intricacies to follow (which aren't made any easier by the subtitles that often disappear into the white background). Still, there are machine gun battles and spirited martial arts encounters every few minutes to keep the whole show moving through to its inevitable conclusion.

I bought this DVD at HKFLIX "blowout" prices and that's about what it's worth. Still, a fantastic title!

The plot jumps back and forth between scenes of the firm's boss and the sexual relationship he is having with his young secretary/assistant and the tribulations that his daughter is facing as she is chained up in some cellar full of pipes and tanks being menaced by a strange figure disguised in a sumo wrestler's suit and wearing a gas mask. The captive girl rapidly forms a weird bond with her captor, who ultimately deflowers her before revealing a shocking identity.

The strengths of this flick are mostly in the bondage and sex scenes. The two main female leads are quite attractive and they spend a fair amount of time naked performing animated simulated sex. The bondage isn't particularly creative, mostly handcuffs and chained-to-a-pipe stuff. The weakness of the film is in its rather confusing and sketchy character development, which isn't helped much by a fairly poor translation for the English subtitles [on the HK DVD by CN]. You can understand the basic premise, but a lot of the subtlety gets lost... I had to watch it twice to really get a grasp on who was who and what was going on.

In the final analysis: for B&D fans a few good kinky scenes, but nothing groundbreaking. Worth a look.

James Bond "Goldfinger" golden girl Shirley Eaton plays a ruler of a land of Amazon women with some stated aspirations to take over the society ruled by men that never really materializes. The plot jumps around a lot, following an agent who has purportedly stolen ten million dollars that everyone is trying to get a hold of.

The characters are confusing, particularly the women who are hard to identify as they are constantly donning different wigs, and there is little sexual chemistry or heat in any of the scenes--some nudity is on display and a lot of goofy 60's style clothing. Franco may have been aiming for another "Barbarella" or "Modesty Blaise", but his ode to the comic kitsch falls short.

Perhaps the most shocking element of the US DVD by Blue Underground was included in the EXTRAS section where an interview with Ms. Eaton shows just how much time has passed since she glittered in "Goldfinger".

The plot revolves around a group of guys who just pulled off a big heist and are lying low for a few days until they can divide up the loot and flee the country to pursue their individual dreams with their newly acquired wealth. They stop at a roadside pull-off to pick up some pre-arranged food and supplies for their hide-out and discover a girl (Aoi) who they assume was sent to deliver the goods. They pull her into their van, tie her up, and plan on holding her captive and taking advantage of her sexually, but over the succeeding days their number starts to mysteriously die and they begin to turn on one another in suspicion until they come to realize that they are the prey of the succubus-like sea ogre.

It's all fairly intriguing and Sora gets naked a lot, but I found her to be a little "too cute" to be convincing as the evil entity that she's supposed to be. Having seen her later work ("..The Wall") first, one can appreciate how she has matured in her craft and has gotten "hotter" with a little age and experience. All in all though, this was an enjoyable enough flick and worth a look.

This DVD offers some great Japanese shibari rope work, BUT it is sadly flawed by a couple of elements that detract from its enjoyment.

Firstly there is no English subtitle available. This fact WAS made clear in the promo for the disc, so I knew it going in, but it is unfortunate because it would be really interesting to hear what the rope masters and their female bondage subjects are saying about the subject.

The other more glaring fault (that is not mentioned anywhere) is that the film has a lot of the lame censorship blackouts of the female pubic regions. This is not a subtle digital pixelation as on some sex flix but is a giant black dot that often obscures practicaly the entire figure of the model. Really too bad, because there are some very intense bondage sessions that could have been super hot but end up just being annoying.

Not a total write-off as there are some great B&D scenes with beautiful women but ultimately sorta' disappointing.

In "Where Does It Hurt?", Sellers plays the chief administrator of a large hospital complex who keeps his bottom line properous by luring patients into the medical system with unnecessary tests and procedures--generally milking their health insurance programs. The plot thickens as a recently unemployed man with no insurance gets sucked into the scheme and, after an un-needed surgery, blows the whistle on the operation, and Sellers' character must use all his sleazy skills to save himself and the hospital staff from the powers that be.

The writing is a little heavy handed, but the movie does offer a few good laughs--Sellers' comic genius definitely saves the day as he manages to make the thoroughly despicable character he plays amusing. There are some attractive females in the movie but no nudity.

Overall it's decent enough to watch as one of Sellers' more obscure U.S.-made films, but is probably a better candidate for a rental than a purchase.

The 'plot' centers on a girl who is being blackmailed by the police to act as an undercover agent for them to infiltrate a teenage prostitution ring at a high school. At first she comes off like a tough sukeban girl gang leader then inexplicably decides to submit to the existing girl gang prostitute leader at the high school to get an 'in' and develops a deep friendship with her. She falls in love with a guy she meets walking down a set of stairs and he ultimately deflowers her then just disappears from the scene... it is later revealed it was all part of a 'set-up' to destroy her.

In the end, after several over-used character reversal plot twists, Yo-Yo girl appears to be heading off for her ultimate vengence by blowing up George Bush while he is meeting with the Japanese prime minister (who is supposed to be one of the clients of the high school prostitute ring), but it's all off camera with only some sound effects to hint at the deed.

When the credits rolled, my end reaction was: HUH!?! Still, a few good skin shots and some cute girls make the whole affair watchable, but just barely!
