The Fox Family (product link) Musical / Fantasy Several movies in Korea refer to foxes that can appear human and eat our livers (souls). This one, as well as the amazing "Yobi, The Five Tailed Fox", tell the story but keep it light for general audiences. The lead is not really that charming, so it was a bit difficult to see him with the fox girl. It is pretty funny though. Strange, but held back a bit by its rating. The title music is beautiful.
The Emilio Miraglia Killer Queen Box Set [LE 2-Disc Box + Action Figure] (product link) Horror / Thriller For the price, this is a value. These movies are hilarious and you can't beat a little red queen figure. It's kind of frightening as she's laughing and running toward you in her bright red outfit.
These are movies were you'll be laughing at the part that probably weren't supposed to be funny, but the murders...some are really realistic the way you'd expect. The Red Queen waiting patiently to stab, nothing stylized. If you like horror and cult, this is for you.
Ashura (product link) Action/Adventure / Fantasy Let some of the beginning effect go by. You're in for a pretty cool film. Amazing swordplay, demons, traitors, tradition and love. Ashura is a demon that is about to be awoken. There aren't enough demon epics. I didn't know much about this film when I got it, it seemed like I couldn't go wrong. You can't. Check it out.
Five Fingers Of Death (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Quentin owes a lot to this film. You owe it to yourself to see it. One of the ultimate Shaw films, this one gave Quentin the awesome synth sound he used as "The Bride" went into memory rage. It's pretty groundbreaking, though I wished there was more emotion near the end. People have gotten killed. I mean, there's revenge but there should be emotion too.
Aftermath / Genesis [DOUBLE FEATURE] [BANNED GRAPHIC COVER] (product link) Horror / Thriller Wow, the evolution of Nacho Cerda. This guy is so talented. You have to let the first film go, he was in school with limited time and budget, but it's still pretty haunting. The next two are a dance of opposites. Cold and shocking, then warm and dark. Features one of the most realistic fake bodies you'll ever see.
The Foul King (product link) Comedy "The Foul King" is pretty much perfect, especially if you have a technical job and you hate it. Sometimes we just have to explode; and this climax, you really feel it.
Drunken Master 2 (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure You want the original language with subtitles. This is the greatest drunken fighting you will ever see. It's like watching Blanka from Street Fighter. This is definitely one of the top 10 martial arts films of all time.
