Seven Swordsmen (product link) TV Shows/Movies / Martial Arts Thoroughly enjoyed the action scenes and the storyline, though the ending looks as if a sequel is necessary, I certainly hope so. Highly recommended, if you like action movies. I wonder when the sequel will be made and released.
Condor Hero [9-Disc Set] (product link) TV Shows/Movies / Martial Arts A really great movie/TVseries, the action and story was marvellous, a typical Asian love story where they meet and part over and over again, unable to stay together for years, frustrating and yet stay honest to each other through all their trials. The story was dragged out a bit, but the action was stupendous, I will be watching this over again, and cannot recommend it enough. I am looking forward to viewing other stories by this writer when I can find them.
Shinsengumi: Assassins Of Honor (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure I was not expecting such a good or informative film. Not only was it a great action movie, but it explained a lot of the history of the time, and who the Shinsengumi were. It was further enhanced with some of the top actors. The action was real--not enhanced wirework, but more down to earth. Very good, and I wish there were more like this.
Avalon (product link) Science Fiction / Action/Adventure Not really what I expected. The animation was okay, but all the actors were real life, as were the locations, some of the weapons were obviously added in animation, the storyline was okay, but I was not excited by the movie really.
Nomad [2005] (product link) Action/Adventure / Drama I enjoyed the movie's storyline and beautiful scenes, its really great that Azerbaijan is now going into the light and showing its history and stories. I only gave 4 stars since towards the end of the story it did not demonstrate how he was able to get the various tribes to unite, which was the crux of the story. The stary was quitre sanitised for the general market, in reality the cruelty of the tribes towards each other was quite horrendous.
Let us hope that Azerbaijan studios continue to grow and show us what they really have.

This movie is Kazakhian not Azerbaijanian, story is about Kazakhstan! Anyway it sucks.

Kunoichi Collection [2-Disc Set] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure After [reading other people's comments] I was expecting something a little more dramatic storyline and acting than what it was, so I was disappointed, and will now be very wary of over-enthusiastic write-ups.
Yellow River Fighter (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure I got confused with it, and all the armour looked the same both for goodies and baddies, and to boot I fell asleep during the movie. Not the best I have seen.

Class Reunion Again Vol. 2: All About Ayu (product link) Animation / Erotica I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the story and graphics, it did not appear to be very deep, and I had a bit of a struggle trying to indentify the various characters, as it's made for the Asian market--that would explain why the stories are only about 25 minutes long.
