Showdown At The Cotton Mill (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This is One Seriously Great Kung Fu Movie! Its A Damme Shame It Tool Making One of My Most Favorite's Stars Playing The Heavy, The Bad Guy , The Villain To Make A Great Movie, But Most Disappointing Of All...I Can Find This Movie ANYWHERE In ENGLISH/English Dubbed. In The Early 70s When I First Saw This Movie It Was English Dubbed.
Four stars and a classic. This movie needs to be remastered/restored with an english dub and original langauge track. One of my favorites and have to disagree Adam, Tan Tao Liang is rated in the top four best kickers of all time.Hwang is #1
hmm.....confused. this is film is passable only because of the final fight.plus tan tao-liang is not a good villian or even one of the better kickers. 5 stars? i dont agree
Goliath And The Barbarians / Goliath And The Vampires [DOUBLE FEATURE] (product link) Action/Adventure / Fantasy Both movies are Italy-based with Italian stars--the late great Steve Reeves and Gordon Scott, my favorites Saturday matinee idols. There has never been since or before a better portrayed Hercules than by the great Steve Reeves, and only one great Johnny Weissmuller played a better Tarzan than the great Gordon Scott. The crowning glorious achievement to these magnificently great movies would have been if you also had "Duel Of The Titans": Steve Reeves plus Gordon Scott...
The Deadly Breaking Sword (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure "The Deadly Breaking Sword" is most deferentially one of the majestic Ti Lung's best films. This is the second of two films in my collection where the great and majestic Ti Lung faced off against the magnificent Chen Wei Min. Great kung fu sequence, flawless and almost perfect kung fu technique.
My biggest wish now is to somehow find the English dubbed versions of my Ti Lung favorites and most wanted: "The Sentimental Swordsman" (1977), "Return Of The Sentimental Swordsman" (1980), "Opium And The Kung Fu Master" (1984), "King Eagle" (1970), "Clans Of Intrigue" (1977), and "The Roving Swordsman" (1983). I have searched hard, far and wide and still no English dubs.
The Chinese Godfather / Duel Of Karate [DOUBLE FEATURE] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure "The Chinese Godfather" was not a big hit for its star, Chen Wei Min. This movie was not well done, like most of those quickie martial arts movies done after the death of the late, great Bruce Lee. It fails to show magnificent kung fu skills and was held back by a very poor fight choreographer.
"Dual Of Karate", which used an A-rated star, Tien Ping To, misled fans about the quality of this movie with the poor choice of title.
Return Of The One Armed Swordsman [3-Movie Set] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure One of Jimmy Wang Yu's best and another great classic by Wang Yu.

this film is a classic and it's sure to entertain.
The Shaolin Invincibles (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure I was somewhat disappointed with this movie, featuring Chia Ling (aka Judy Lee) and Hsu Feng as sisters bent on vengance. Hwang Ca Ta's (aka_Carter Wong) nothing role and the great Tan Tao Liang's small role were the only bright spots in the whole movie...
The Magnificent Kick [10-Movie Set] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Excellent movie and Jason Pai Piao was outstanding in the lead. The only sad thing was the very small cameo part for the late great Mr. Kwan Tak Hing as Wong Fei Hung.
Two Great Cavaliers (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure John Liu + Angelia Mao Ying = A Great Duo. Clearly one of John Liu's best outings with an all-star cast that includes some of the best and greatest movie stars to date. Favorably, notably and most honorably mentioned are the great Chen Sing, Leung Kar Yan, Angela Mao, and Chin Han. An all around great movie.
Two Assassins Of Darkness (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure For a movie that has two stars as great as the great Don Wang Tao and Chang Yu, it sure fell short on the well-anticipated kung fu action this movie SHOULD have had. But as a Wang Tao fan, I'll take whatever he's in, just like the great Tan Tao-Liang--no matter how disappointing the movie(s)...
The Story In Temple Red Lily (product link) Martial Arts / Romance An almost complete wasteful use and/or non-showing of the greatest leg master of the movies: the great Tan Tao-Liang. This movie is most disappointing.
Magnificent Kick / Butcher Wing [DOUBLE FEATURE] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Magnificent Kick: 5 stars. Excellent movie and Jason Pai Piao was outstanding in the lead. The only sad thing was the very small cameo part for the late great Mr. Kwan Tak Hing as Wong Fei Hung.
Butcher Wing: 2 stars. A poor movie, no star power, no kung fu punch to the movie.
The Brave Archer 3 (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Another great movie, performance and role by the late great Alexander Fu Sheng, surrounded by a great all-star supporting cast. Being the third in the series, it may well be the best. An action movie with a most excellent story.
Blade Of Fury (product link) Martial Arts / Swordplay/Sword(s) Somewhat disappointing to find the majestic Ti Lung in a movie where his character is so under-played and his skills are wasted and undisplayed...
The Green Jade Statuette (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure One of Meng Fei's best non-period films. After adding Chi-Kuan Chun and the great Tommy Lee, this a great movie. A marvelous output of kung fu action.
Five Kung Fu Daredevil Heroes (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure First let's look at the line-up of all-stars of kung fu: Meng Fei, Leung Kar Yan, Phillip Ko Feim Kam Kong, and the great Lo Lieh. This should have made this a great movie instead of such a great disappointment...I hate it!
Executioners From Shaolin (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Executioners From Shaolin, Executioners Of Death, Shaolin Executioners...no matter what name you hang on the great Shaw Bros. movie, it's simply one of the greatest output from great director, the late great Liu Chia Liang ("Master Killer" Gordon Liu Chia Hui's older brother), with the most spectacular, absolutely great display/execution of the Shaolin tiger's claw on film to date. Rounding out a who's who of an all star-cast are Lily Li and Wang Yue.
Drunken Master (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Bar none the legendary Jackie Chan's best and greatest movie to date. Add the late, great Simon Yuen and the great Hwang Jang Lee. Explosive, sensational, and simply great.
Demon Strike (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Demon Strike features Leung Ka Yen, Jason Pai Pow and the great Hwang Jang Lee, the second best kung fu leg in martial arts movie history...
The Death Duel Of Kung Fu [DOUBLE FEATURE] (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure The Death Duel Of Kung Fu stars Don Wang Tao and the third best leg kicker in kung fu movie history, gives up some of the most spectacular, the best, kung fu fight scenes on film. I expected nothing less!
Cheetah On Fire is one of Donnie Yen's worst output. I was so disappointed and hurt to see something like this from a Donnie Yen film. Then he dies in the movie's final action sequence.

You're not lying...it sucked that his character had to die the way he did in this movie. And Donnie's character sums it all up by saying "My job's done!" I'm like, "huh"? What was your job Donnie...to die in this movie? You're supposed to be the hero...
The Brave Archer (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure The late great Alexander Fu Sheng put together some of his best and greatest kung fu action and on screen performance since Chinatown Kid...
The Bare Footed Kid (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure The Bare Footed Kid and Blade Of Fury are not your typical excellent kung fu vehicles of the great Ti Lung.
The Battle Wizard (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure This one was more of a surprise than a disappointment for a Shaw output. I expected better output of kung fu action, but instead a lot of not so special effects.
10 Brothers Of Shaolin (product link) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure Nine times out of ten, when you put great stars and martial artists together in one film--like Don Wang Tao, Chang Yu, Phillip Ko Fei from Bruce Lee's "Enter The Dragon"; Tung Wei and Ms. Chia Ling (Judy Lee) from "The Queen Boxer"--expect nothing less than an excellent movie. This one is Mr. Wang's best performance and kung fu output.
