Manji (product link) Drama / Erotica Manji is Masumura's twenty-eighth film. Its packed running time offers a scabrous catalogue of infatuation, lesbianism, adultery, duplicity, phantom pregnancies, blackmail, drugs, blood oaths, ménages à trois, suicide pacts and death, but this is filmed so exquisitely that the film resists any classification at all.
I recommend it to all who likes the films of Masumura and who likes Asian Cinema.
Blind Woman's Curse (product link) Thriller / Action/Adventure A mix of the Yakuza and horror genres with a dose of ‘pinky violence’.
Teruo Ishii is directing the a cool Meiko Kaji, swordplay, supernatural grudges, yakuza, mystery, terror, and intrigue. It may not be the best work of either Kaji or Ishii but it is a very great movie.
Dark Habits (product link) Drama / Comedy "Dark Habits" is Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar's depiction of a convent where nothing is quite as it initially seems. In his blasphemous comedy, Cecilia Roth (star of ALL ABOUT MY MOTHER) has a small role as one of the mother superior's former lovers.

Pistol Opera (product link) Girls With Guns / Crime "Pistol Opera" is a stylish thriller. The plot involves a female assassin who is ranked the third best and wants to move up to number 1.
Battle Royale (product link) Horror / Thriller Battle Royale is a fascinating film with a great Takeshi Kitano. The young actors and actresses do a great job: especially Masanobu Ando and Chiaki Kuriyama.
Female Demon Ohyaku (product link) Crime / Erotica Shot in excellent black & white photography with an an fantastic Junko Miyazono. A real "pink film" classic.
Girl Boss Revenge (product link) Crime / Action/Adventure This is the fourth entry in Toei's "Sukeban" series and the last directed by Norifumi Suzuki. If you like movies made by Suzuki, you should also watch this one.
The Machine Girl (product link) Action/Adventure / Girls With Guns Great japanese splatter film. It reminds me a lot of the '70s pinky violence movies from Toei.
Female Prisoner: Caged! (product link) Crime / Erotica This movie is not bad at all, but I like the pink violence films from Toei and the "Female Prisoner Scorpion" series much more.
Tokyo Gore Police (product link) Action/Adventure / Horror This movie contains even more blood and gore than “The Machine Girl” and has an interesting story, and its soundtrack fits very well within the atmosphere. But it is different from other genre-like movies because there is some kind social criticism (shown through the publicity-clips) in it, which is a very interesting aspect.
S&M Hunter (product link) Erotica A film with manga style and hugely politically incorrect, loaded with swastikas, delirious patriarchal anxiety, Catholica used for sexual purposes--a refreshing pink film because the plot is remarkable.
Hard Revenge Milly (product link) Action/Adventure / Thriller I enjoyed this movie very much. It's a good action film. Unfortunately it's a bit short. I'm already looking forward to watching the sequel, "Hard Revenge Milly: Bloody Battle".
Gun Crazy 1-2 Double Feature [2-Disc Set] (product link) Girls With Guns / Action/Adventure Two great movies. The first one is almost like a western. The second one is more like a yakuza movie.
